This fuel-switch project focuses on upgrading HVAC systems in commercial buildings. The key improvement involves transitioning from fossil fuel-based heating systems to electric heat pumps and/or hybrid heating systems. Prior to the upgrades, the buildings relied on less efficient, carbon-intensive heating systems. Emission reductions include calculated scope 2 emissions from the jurisdiction's electricity grid.
